Olabisi sides APC consensus candidature of Maxima for Ondo House Ose Constituency

Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State, Honourable (Chief) Olabisi John Ohiremen, has thrown his weight behind the candidature of the Majority Leader pf the state House of Assembly, Chief Olatunji Oshati (Maxima) for a second term.
Ohiremen, in a statement he personally signed on Wednesday and made available to journalists said, the decision was based on the good representation Oshati had provided for the constituency.
“In the spirit of unity, loyalty and long-standing friendship, I, Honourable (Chief) Olabisi has graciously resolved to abide by the decision of our great party, the APC, in adopting the consensus candidature of Honourable Oshati Maxima for the Ondo State House of Assembly, Ose Constituency.
“This noble decision reflects not only his deep respect for party supremacy and internal democracy, but also the cordial relationship and mutual respect that have existed between me and Honourable Maxima over the years.
“It further demonstrates my commitment to peace, harmony and the collective interest of the people of Ose Constituency above personal ambition.
“As a disciplined party man and committed stakeholder, I, Honourable Olabisi, believe that the strength of the APC lies in unity, cooperation and shared purpose.
“I remain convinced that sustaining friendship among leaders and stakeholders is essential to building a stronger and more victorious political family. I sincerely appreciate the number one leader of the party in the state, His Excellency, Lucky Orimisan Ayedatiwa, for his fatherly role played during this process and the overwhelming support, encouragement, and confidence reposed in him by leaders, youths, women and supporters across Ose Constituency throughout the consultation period.
“Your steadfast belief in his vision remains deeply appreciated,” he said.
He, therefore, called on all his supporters and loyalists to remain calm, united, and extend full support to the APC and the candidature of Oshati Maxima in the forthcoming Ondo State House of Assembly election.
“Leadership is not only about contesting positions, but also about sacrifice, maturity, friendship and placing the people first. Honourable Olabisi remains committed to the growth, development and progress of Ose Constituency, while continuing to work hand in hand with Honourable Maxima and other stakeholders for the overall success of the party.
“Together, we move forward in unity, friendship and victory,” he concluded.
