Former Chief Press Secretary (CPS) to the late former Governor Lam Adeshina of Oyo State, Alhaji Kehinde Olaosebikan, has won the primary of the All Progressives Congress (APC) House of Representatives seat for Oluyple Federal Constituency.

The results of the election yet to be confirmed, but as released after the exercise indicated that Olaosebikan had the majority valid vote cast.

Results obtained by our reporters on Saturday indicated that in Ward 01, Olaosebikan scored 149 as against Abiodun Gbolagade’s 54, while Olusunbo Olugbemi had four votes and incumbent Tolulope Akande-Sadipe had two.

In Ward 02, Olaosebikan polled 200 votes, while Gbolagade had 80 and Olugbemi polled 23.

Also in Ward 03, the former CPS had 193 votes, Gbolagade had 140, and Olugbemi had six, while Akande-Sadipe had 10.

In Ward 04, Gbolagade won with a whopping 160 votes, while

Olaosebikan had 85. Olugbemi polled only 20, while incumbent

Akande-Sadipe also got 20. Another candidate, Jide Adewale, got four votes.

In Ward 05 Olaosebikan polled 110, while Gbolagade had 69 and Olugbemi had 10.

In Ward 06, Alhaji Olaosebikan had 83 votes, while Gbolagade polled 57. However, Olugbemi had nil votes, while Akande-Sadipe scored nine.

In Ward 07, Gbolagade, again, floored all by scoring 300 votes. Olaosebikan came second, scoring 178 votes.

In Ward 8, the former CPS bounced back by leading with 60 votes, while Gbolagade had 30, Olugbemi had six and Akande-Sadipe had four.

In Ward 09, Olaosebikan topped again with 84 votes, while Gbolagade had 40 and Olugbemi had nil.

In Ward 10, he also polled 55, but Gbolagade topped him with 63 votes.

At the end, the total votes gave Olaosebikan victory with 1,197;

Gbolagade had 993, Olugbemi had 69, Akande-Sadipe had 45, while Jide had six votes.
