The lawmaker representing Ose Constituency in the Ondo State House of Assembly, Chief Olatunji Oshati (Maxima) has reiterated the importance of civil rule for the nation’s development.
He spoke in a statement he personally signed to commemorate this year’s Democracy Day.
The Ondo State Majority Leader and All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate said “My dear constituents of Ose Constituency, as we commemorate this year’s Democracy Day, I extend my warm greetings and heartfelt appreciation to every one of you for your unwavering support, trust, and commitment to the democratic ideals that unite us as a people.
“Today reminds us of the sacrifices made by many patriots who fought for the freedom, justice, and democratic governance we enjoy as a nation.
“Democracy remains the most reliable path to sustainable development, peace, and inclusive governance. I, therefore, encourage all citizens to continue believing in and supporting the democratic process.
“While challenges may arise along the way, we must remain patient, resilient, and committed to strengthening our institutions for the collective good of our constituency, Ondo State, and Nigeria as a whole. Together, we can build a future that reflects the hopes and aspirations of our people.
“As your representative at the Ondo State House of Assembly, I reaffirm my commitment to effective representation, people-oriented legislation, and the pursuit of policies that will improve the welfare of our constituents. Let us continue to trust the process, uphold the principles of democracy, and work hand in hand towards a more prosperous and united Nigeria. “Happy Democracy Day and may God bless Ose Constituency, Ondo State, and the Federal Republic of Nigeria.”
