It’s a lie, I’m not supporting LP’s Abbo –Wike

Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has described reports on the social media indicating his support for the Labour Party (LP) governorship candidate in Adamawa State, Senator Ishaku Abbo, as fake.
The FCT Minister, who spoke through his Senior Special Assistant on Public Communications and Social Media, Mr. Lere Olayinka, said he had no relationship whatsoever with the LP and any of its candidates in Adamawa State.
The social media post had quoted Wike as saying that people of Adamawa State should make informed and thoughtful decisions at the ballot, stating that in his opinion, Ishaku Abbo was best fit for the leadership of the state.
However, the FCT Minister described the report as fake, saying he did not, at any time, endorse Ishaku Abbo or any candidate of the LP.
He called on the people of Adamawa State to disregard the social media report, saying that whatever about whoever he was supporting, he would use his own mouth to say it.
