Olubadan praises 7Up as major employer of labour

The Olubadan of Ibadanland, His Imperial Majesty, Oba (Dr.) Rasidi Adewolu Ladoja (Arusa1), has described the 7Up Bottling Company as one of the major employers of labour in Nigeria.
The appreciation message was contained in a Tuesday press release issued and signed by the Chief Press Secretary (CPS) to Olubadan of Ibadanland, Chief Ayoade Solomon Olugbemiga, after a courtesy visit paid to Oba Ladoja at his palace located at Oke Aremo, Ibadan on Monday.
The paramount ruler commended 7Up Bottling Company for “contributing immensely to the improvement of the Nigerian economy, especially, in the employment drive and human capital development.
Arusa1 called on other companies in the country to emulate the contributions of 7Up, not only in employment, but also the quality of its products that promote healthy condition of the people, among others.”
Earlier in his address, the Managing Director of 7Up Bottling Company, Mr. Sari El-Khalil, congratulated Oba Ladoja for his enthronement as 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland.
The Managing Director said he led the management team of the company to seek for royal blessings and further assistance to keep the company going on smoothly.
Those who accompanied the Managing Director on the visit were the General Manager, Mr. Rabah Maddah; the Head of Corporate Affairs Nkem Agboti; among others.
Also present at the visit were the Balogun of Ibadanland, Oba Tajudeen Abimbola Ajibola, Otun Olubadan of Ibadanland; Oba (Sir) Eddy Oyewole, Otun Balogun of Ibadanland; Oba (Dr.) Kolawole Adegbola, Ashipa Olubadan of Ibadanland; Oba Salawudeen Amidu Ajibade, Ashipa Balogun of Ibadanland; Oba Dauda Abiodun Azees, Ekerin Olubadan of Ibadanland; Oba Muritala Adebayo Akande, Ekerin Balogun of Ibadanland; Oba Akeem Mobolaji Adewoyin and other traditional chiefs.
