Ondo: Irekari APC endorses Oshati (Maxima) for a second term

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Irekari Local Council Development Area (LCDA) of Ose Local Government Area of Ondo State has endorsed the ambition of the Majority Leader of the state House of Assembly, Olatunji Oshati, for a second term.
Popularly known as Maxima, Oshati got a boost last weekend as all the five APC chairmen in Irekari area endorsed him as their consensus candidate for the state House of Assembly seat.
Speaking on behalf of the chairmen in the presence of party stakeholders from Irekari APC members, the chairman of Afo Ward I, who is also the chairman of All APC ward chairmen in Ose Local Government Honourable Owadara, affirmed the readiness of all party members in Irekari LCDA, to work assiduously for the re-election bids of all APC candidates in the forthcoming general elections, Maxima in particular.
Stating that Maxima had done well in all the constitutionally enshrined roles for a lawmaker “including lawmaking, oversight functions and effective representation.”
Reacting, Honourable Oshati thanked the party stakeholders for their support and endorsement. He praised the people for standing by him despite numerous challenges faced by the zone.
He promised to redouble his effort towards addressing the challenges facing the area and prayed for quick government interventions in fixing Afo – Idoani road, “refurbishing of our hospitals and reviving our schools.”
These, Maxima described as worthy, and promised to dedicate himself to.
He called for continuous unity and sense of purpose for the party, especially in the LCDA, emphasising that only with unity of purpose that Irekari could make progress. He announced that the stakeholders’ consultative meeting with Ekamarun zone would hold on 4th MaY.
